      • Frequently asked questions

Can I set up my own classes?

Yes. As soon as you have a login you can set up your own classes. Adding and removing students is quite easy. If, on the other hand, you find this difficult we have video tutorials to walk you through the process. You can also always phone directly and speak to us and we can walk you through step by step.

Has Trust Mapping been evaluated by psychologists?

Trustmapping initially consulted Dr. Ruth Wraith Child Psychotherapist at Royal Children’s Hospital during the early stages of development. A more extensive evaluation was later undertaken by Dr. Brigitta Bogdanov PhD, Organisational Psychologist. (Feel free to request Dr. Bogdanov’s contact details if you would like to communicate directly with her).

How will the students know what the specific terms mean?

There is a script provided to read out to each class so there is a unified understanding of the key terms as well as instructions on how to complete the survey.

What do I do with my students when I find individuals that need support?

Make contact with pete@trustmapping.com and he would love to discuss with you which particular strategies may be best for each context.

What happens if we decide not to renew our subscription next year?

You will still be able to log on and use Trustmapping into the future and access all of the data for the students that you surveyed. If you would like to re-engage Trustmapping in the future the data will continue to be longitudinal from the first instance.

What should I look for when evaluating the report?

Check for outliers. Identify students who stand out from the mean of the cohort, students with no “Trusted Allies”, students whose total score difference from term one to term two is noticeable. Identify relationships which are out of balance. Identify students who see large number of students as “Unsure”.
